The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For neato robot vacuum mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have but they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
